The All-Ukrainian Missionary Religious Center “Light of the Gospel” has taken a historic step by becoming a full member of Alliance World Fellowship (AWF), a powerful global association of missionary churches.

The joyful news came this week from the AWF World Conference, which is being held from October 7 to 12, 2025, in Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa). The WMC delegation, which included Sergey Guts, Oleg Shaykevich, and Steve Lavel, received official confirmation that the Ukrainian mission is now part of a global family that unites millions of believers in 88 countries.

AWF is a movement that grew out of the Alliance's mission, and its values are fully consistent with our vision: preaching the full Gospel, fulfilling the Great Commission, and viewing mission as the highest value. Our membership was a logical continuation of our work, as we already care for six missionary families and use the Faith Promise Fund to support ministry.

The process of joining was lengthy and required compliance with high standards: official registration, at least 10 churches, an active Council, and our own financial reporting. All requirements were successfully met.

Important: The Light of the Gospel Mission is now the only organization representing Ukraine in the global AWF family.

This opens new horizons for our mission and is a recognition of the maturity of the Ukrainian evangelical movement on the world stage. Praise God!
